Dive deep into the most famous wine region of Italy and experience it like a local

If you want to connect with Tuscany’s nature and local life, allow yourself the extra time to travel off the beaten path and let us take you to meet and discover the Chianti Classico wine region.

This 2-day electric bike tour will allow you to travel through backroads, avoiding the trafficked streets and crowds, while travelling in ancient routes used by pilgrims and merchants of the Medici era.

Day 1 — From Florence to the Chianti area

Your journey begins in Florence’s Oltrarno district, where our friendly team will welcome you and get you fitted with the right E-bike and helmet. After a short briefing, you’ll leave the city behind, following quiet country roads that quickly open onto rolling hills, olive groves, and vineyards.

The first part of the ride takes about an hour and a half, with scenic stops to admire the views and learn about local life and farming traditions from your knowledgeable guide.

Around midday, you’ll reach a family-run Chianti Classico winery, where you’ll visit the cellars, stroll through the gardens, and enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch paired with their wines and olive oil, all produced on site.

After lunch, the ride continues through gentle hills and peaceful backroads. You’ll stop at Borgo Machiavelli, the historic hamlet where the famous Renaissance thinker once lived, before heading to your accommodation for the night in the Impruneta area.

Here, you can relax by the pool, enjoy the sunset over the vineyards, or simply enjoy the countryside atmosphere.

The ride continues through scenic roads lined with cypress trees and vineyards, leading to another local farm and winery. Here you’ll visit the cellars and enjoy a light lunch with a tasting of fresh olive oil and wine before starting your ride back towards Florence.

On the final stretch, you’ll pass through Arcetri, where Galileo once lived, and climb up to San Miniato al Monte — one of the most breathtaking viewpoints over Florence.
