Quick Details
Since 1993 we promise:
No museums, no churches, no annoying crowds!
A day riding amongst panoramic views of Chianti and Tuscany
Our E-bike Chianti & Tuscany bike tour in the famous Chianti Classico countryside leads you away from the crowds and noise of the city, learn about local life and farming, and have some great fun with our trusted guides!
Our friendly staff will meet you at our meeting point in Florence and we will fit you with the right Electric bike and helmet for you. You will then have a brief training session for safety and an introduction to the itinerary for the day.
The first part of the bike ride lasts about 1.5 hours, and as you leave Florence behind, you will see typical Tuscany villages and olive orchards while enjoying panoramic stops to take some photos and learn about local life and nature from our knowledgeable guide.
After another bit of biking, we will reach the wine estate for a tour of the property and a full Tuscan lunch! The property we will visit is a family-run farm in the Chianti hills. There we will visit their garden that supplies fresh vegetables, the cellar where the wines rest, and a small but well-kept farmhouse with a swimming pool. Then we will enjoy a multi-course Tuscan lunch and tastings of their fine oils and wines, all produced on the premises.
After lunch, we jump back on our bikes and start riding again to burn some calories! Your guide will choose the best itinerary for the way back so that you can enjoy some more rolling hills and great panoramas.
This experience is a full day in the name of easy and slow-paced Tuscan life!
Important: you need to be experienced and fit to ride a bike safely and efficiently, and the minimum height for E-bikes is 150cm (4’11”). Also, the minimum age for riding E-bike is 14 years old. We have optional bike trailers for younger kids, but you will need to write us directly so we can arrange the tour for you privately!
The tour has some light off-road sections and downhills that can be dangerous for people not used / proficient at riding bikes. Also, E-bikes are much heavier than regular bikes, so they are more difficult to maneuver.
We reserve the right to refuse to allow guests on the tour who are not fit to ride the bikes safely. No refunds will be possible in this case.
