Come Enjoy an 18-Miles Downhill Ride in Tuscany’s finest rolling hills and iconic landscapes
Starting from our meeting point in central Florence, we drive you outside toward the Chianti countryside (40 mins. drive)
We will start biking after a visit to the ancient Monastery of Monte Senario, on the top of a mountain surrounded by beautiful nature and pine forests, a true hidden gem of Tuscany.
You will then start riding downhill with your trusted and knowledgable guide, enjoying great views.
You will reach our favourite local family run “Trattoria” for a multi-course lunch of excellent Tuscan goodness, also tasting Extra Virgin Olive Oil and wine produced in the area.
After, our guide will take you to a family run Chianti farm, showing you the ancient cellar and the “Orciaia”, where olive oil used to be stored since centuries ago.
We continue to descend down into the beautiful hilltop town of Fiesole for a quick stop to admire the breathtaking view of Florence and Tuscany before heading down to the city centre.
You don’t need to be an expert bike rider, only a lover of the outdoors and of the delightful Tuscany landscape. This is an easy and pleasant tour, suitable for families.
