Classic Chianti Full Day Bike Tour | My experience

Hi again! Today I’m here to tell you more about one of the We Like Tuscany bike tours I got to go on: the Classic Chianti Full Day Bike Tour.

Once again, we hopped in the van and left from our office in Via Romana. About 15 minutes later we were outside Florence and ready to ride our bikes. We put on a helmet, filled up our water bottles and started discovering the beautiful Chianti region.

We rode along vineyards, olive groves, hillside villa estates, medieval castles and stopped for pictures of the breath-taking panoramic views of Florence.

After a couple of hours of cycling and listening to our guide explain us all about the process of making olive oil here in the Chianti region, we winded down in a private Chianti Villa Estate where we enjoyed a delicious lunch accompanied by some fine wines.

Our bilingual guide also showed us around the winery and the cellar and afterward, we embarked on the last leg of our adventure: the downhill part of the bike tour!
